Raising her head to peer through a tangle of blonde hair, Kristin gave a low gasp as she registered Derek's presence.
This was not a good sign. If Derek was here, what about the others? What about Philip... Forced to think positively, she reasoned that the demon must have uses for them since it hadn't killed them; her mind shied away from speculating just what those 'uses' might be. Straightening, Kristin winced as the movement rubbed her chafed wrists against the shackles. "Derek," she whispered. "Are you okay?" <<post for Philip>> Stumbling, Philip caught himself before he could hit the ground and he paused. Slowly turning his head, something ahead caught his attention. There was something...wrong...up there... With a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach, he hoped against hope that Kristin wasn't there. Getting her out of the clutches of the fallen angel was at the forefront of his mind. Julia's words flooded Philip's thoughts for the hundredth time; what she had seen so clearly he could no longer deny, even to himself. His hand closing into a fist, he started in the direction he didn't want to, knowing that he'd go through Hell itself to bring Kristin back to him. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
