His jaw was tight as he spoke and his tone.....well it was pretty clear he was not pleased about any of this. "Thank you," he added almost as an after thought. It wasn't the doctor's fault after all.
Derek hadn't had a chance to talk with Bryce and it would have to wait until they got home. He moved to the young man's side and told him as gently as possible considering his mood, "I'll make arrangements for your father to be transported to San Francisco. Then you can make arrangements there. Let me know if you need any help with that," he added squeezing the man's shoulder gently.
