I've just unpacked a brand-new piece of vendor equipment, from a reputable
manufacturer, which has NTP capability, and has servers pre-configured
which are pool addresses with no vendor prefix; specifically
{,north-america.,south-america.,europe.,asia.}pool.ntp.org .
I run a pool server, and my understanding was that vendors weren't
supposed to do this.
Is there any kind of procedure for dealing with this? Or should i just
ignore it?
