Include the URL for Dave Plonka's paper: Flawed Routers Flood University of Wisconsin Internet Time Server http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~plonka/netgear-sntp/ If the pool is big enough, you could split off a few servers to use as a vendor specific sub-pool and actually measure the load from a particular vendor. -- These are my opinions.
