One more movie mention, has anyone seen the Dogme 95 films?
Lars Von Triers Dogme contribution "The Idiots" just opened over the
weekend here in Boston. I may go see it tomorrow. Tonight I have to
see "8 1/2 Women" for what its worth.
Also-- has anyone seen the trailer to the film "The Cell"?-- its a new
thriller with a very Silence of the Lambs like plot dealing with a
kind of psychologist who has to enter a comatose serial killer's
dreams to figure out where his next victim is hidden. Forget the plot
though-- the images during the dream sequences seem ultra-cool,
bizarre colours and traces of ideas from Northern Renaissance Art, it
seems.
