Again, in the US - that's not the case.  The software producer is also at risk.

But IANAL and you should certainly consult with one before pursing this 
direction.  IMO...

In any case it would be a violation done by our users not for us, so as I said 
we shouldn't worry about that (other than adding the occasional warning).
