Be sure you use *NEW* profile when upgrading! Be sure you've tried to ``rm
-fr ~/.mozilla'' and bug you're encountering happens trice before
reporting.
Maybe I'm ususual (I probably am; I meant my computer) but I did *not*
remove my profile or my .mozilla or anything, and it still works as well
as others have reported: First startup was a tiny bit rough, only in
that the search engines did not show in the search bar; after that it's
fine. Everything was there from 1.5 - bookmarks, history, etc., - it
even disabled one old custom search engine plugin, the others all work.
Be sure you ``pkg_delete -c mozilla-firefox
You have to do that, pkg_add won't treat this as an upgrade.
&& rm -r
/usr/local/mozilla-firefox && rm -r $HOME/.mozilla'' before upgrading!
As reported, neither of these was necessary for me.
I can make it crash repeatably - after successfully printing the below
page via CUPS. On restart FF2 noticed the crash and offered me to
restore session or start again - I chose restore and everything came back.
The page that crashes when printing under CUPS is here (and is worth
reading in its own right):
