This is also not how AI works. Yes you can "trick" an AI to reproduce something from somewhere else, but it needs to be useful for postfix, it needs to be adapted to postfix, it needs to integrate into postfix. A plain copy&paste from the linux kernel is very unlikely. Two different problem areas. Yes, you can contrieve an example which may fit, but the reaility is much more complicated.
Copyright law is also much more complicated than that. And based on which jurisdiction should this be handled? Dutch, US, Ukrainian, French, ... ? There was a recent lawsuit (in one jurisdiction out of many) about an AI learning from books. The big headline was that the company has to pay a lot of money because they did that. The important detail was that the judge ruled that it is ok if an AI learns from a book, the money had to be paid because the books wheren't obtained in a legal way. This has also implications for "learning from public code" (which ones has to be determined).
