Here some tests and my conclusions: file.listfiles is broken on my system...
;pickfile(file.listfiles(env("windir")++"/*",1),"test") ;; returns top level filenames
(no path)
;pickfile(file.listfiles(env("windir")++"\\*",1),"test") ;; returns all level
filenames (no path)
;pickfile(file.listfiles(env("windir")++"/*",0),"test") ;; returns top level filenames
(no path)
;pickfile(file.listfiles(env("windir")++"\\*",0),"test") ;; returns top level
filenames (no path)
;pickfile(file.listfiles(env("windir")++"/*.log",1),"test") ;; returns top level
logfiles (no path)
;pickfile(file.listfiles(env("windir")++"\\*.log",1),"test") ;; returns topl level
logfiles (no path)
;pickfile(file.listfiles(env("windir")++"/w*.dll",1),"test") ;; returns nothing
pickfile(file.listfiles(env("windir")++"\\w*.dll",1),"test") ;; returns nothing
conclusions
- subfolderflag=1 is totally broken on my system
- w*.dll wildcard is broken on my system
- How can I get full pathnames?
