This is what I have been considering, but I stalled for two reasons.

Firstly, there is the issue with the dynamically created bar
disappearing when PowerPro is reconfigured. I have given this further
thought and it isn't too much of a problem however, because I can
program an Event to reopen it in the case that it isn't closed via one
of my accepted ways (that is, via a script call or via the close
button on the bar itself).

Secondly, there is the issue with the ColourSpy bar not being able to
remember its position between runs. I can resolve this by noting down
the position of the bar when a close is requested, but I need to give
more thought as to how to keep the bar in the same position over a
reconfigure... perhaps an event to check the position every two
seconds or so?

Hmm, so can anyone confirm that the functionality to permanently add a
new command list to a .PCF is now gone? Put my mind to rest? :-)
