It is an old problem and long time ago a made a post here already but
never got any response to it. But the problem is still around and
destroys very often all my timer values. It is like this: the timer
function seems not to be a real independent PPro timer but connected
to the windows time. This leads to completely wrong timer values in
the following cases:

- Change of the system time +
- Change of the time zone (I travel a lot) +
- Use of hibernation *
- Use of standby *

+) Depending on the time change / time zone change (+/-) you really
get here values the timer field cannot even handle. But in any case
wrong values.

*) The system shut down time is regarded as system use time

You can avoid the problems if you shut down PowerPro before doing any
of these things. But very often my fingers are quicker than my brain
and then I end up adjusting (with estimated values) all my (many)
timer values.

This all happens on my mighty Win95c. But I cannot believe that M$
made any change because from their point of view it is correct. It
seems to be a PPro related issue only???

Since it is hard or even impossible to get rid of my "quick fingers"
or my poorly designed brain I would like to ask if is there any
workaround or any other solution? PPro can get the information that
something is wrong without any problem. As soon as the reported
Windows time differs more than 1 second from the before reported time
there must have been a "strange" situation. But I am just guessing
now - perhaps it is completely different.
