It does seem able to grab the URL though.

Yeah - I've been doing that. It works but:
- I have to time it carefully with my script
- It overwrites the clipboard (which I know can be got around)
Well - I with all these suggestions - I have something that can work.
(For now I'm just going back to MyIE2 I think).
Does anyone have any idea why these variables don't work with Maxthon?
