The change for 3.8.20 was to use a Windows routine to determine how 
to center the text based on the height of the drawn characters.  Its 
possible this routine does not work the way I expect with Korean 
characters.

But before giving up on Korean characters, and assuming you have 
installed the latest ppro.dll as per my other note, you might also 
try
- check "center" under "button text" in command list properties for 
tray list
- try various values of height and width for first tray button (the 
one replacing the clock).
