Just some very quick testing, using native windows utils...copying a path,
or file name in explorer shows the path name in the clipbrd.exe viewer
(%windir%\system32\clipbrd.exe). I'll bet the viewer is hiding some extra
characters, that identify that path as file system link instead of text (or
it's just translating whatever is there...).

Anyone know of a way to view the raw contents of the clipboard? (maybe
there's a util out there?)
