Yup, I know about these and use them for the simple history/viewer 
implemented in PowerPro.

But there are also the com functions for the clipboard, eg 
olegetclipboard.

Not sure what is the most general approach needed to handle any 
case, eg what happens if someone embeds a picture and and excel 
sheet in Word, and copies all that plus some formatted text to the 
clipboard?  How do the industrial-strength clipboard history 
packages handle that?
