He appears to be using the Ole functions, but hints in some comments 
that that is not strictly necessary.  

Anyway, thanks for the pointer to the source.  It seems to over 100K 
lines of code, which just confirms my decision to stick with 
PowerPro's text-only clipboard history, and let clipmates and 
clipcaches of the world handle the general case.
