I look at these (*Menu FavFolder and *Keys {to folder}) as two separate
functionalities.

*Menu FavFolder is a menu of tracked explorer windows, so you can re-open an
explorer window to that recently viewed folder.

The Autoshow Bar with *Keys {to folder} that shows itself beside a
Filedialog is a different list of directories to navigate folders that I
have recently opened/saved files from.

The bar does have it's limitations:
- That bar is only shown when a standard windows api filedialog has focus.
The way it works, is it uses the option under Setup tab | Advanced setup
button | Characters tab | File name character in open/save dialogs to
determine what the standard underlined letter is in the file/open dialog.
Then, powerpro sends does this (or very similar) when you click one of the
folder buttons:

Alt+underlined letter, select all, copy that to a variable (usually has the
file name there), type the path that you clicked on the bar, hit enter,
select everything in the name field, put the file name back into the name
field.

So, for the ones that it's not working with (after you double-check that
you've set all the options necessary for this function), see if any of the
things that powerpro is doing will make it not work with what you're doing.

One other thing to try, is under the advanced options | Other tab | Use fast
send keys...uncheck this. It might make a difference.

Also of note, when a programmer makes a program they can create their own
Open/Save dialogs that are not standard. When they do this, they may not use
the windows-standard underlined-n as the alt-shortcut to the name field.
Software (Photoshop comes to mind as an example) that doesn't use this
standard will not work with this function.

It exists. See the groups file section | Plugins and addons | OSD_1.2.zip
