I had never noticed the shadows before, so I tried to reproduce them 
as described here.  I can't seem to do it.  Have you tried switching 
to the standard VGA driver to see if you still have the problem?  
That'd tell you for sure if it was a (widespread) video driver bug or 
something with PowerPro.  I'm running W2K SP4, with an ATI Mobility 
Radeon 7500 driver version 6.14.10.6378
