Quickly Sean, the "Recognize keyboard hot keys when Dos/Console window
is active" has 3 selections:
1)check mark - all hot keys work
2)greyed check mark - hotkeys work expect for hotkeys that remap keys
3)unselected - no hotkeys work at all

OK - here is how I can reproduce the problem (have not tried it on any
other systems - hope that this can be reproduced on yours) - I'm using
XP Home SP2

***If you have other windows open, close them - this does (strangely
enough) make a difference
***Make sure that you're not already using the hotkeys described here
anywhere else

Make a Notepad.exe shortcut on your desktop; numerous ways of doing
such - easiest is to right click the desktop, select new->shortcut,
then enter this as the location of the item
%SystemRoot%\system32\notepad.exe

Right click the notepad shortcut and select properties

Click where it says "shortcut key" and press ctrl+shift+q
Press OK
***when you are finished with this shortcut (finished trying to
reproduce this bug), you need to clear the hotkey (press space in the
"shortcut key" area then delete the shorcut)

Now test it out - press ctrl+shift+q and you should get the notepad
everytime

Open PowerPro config and go to "key/mouse"

enter two configurations there
1)win+p  "enter command" C:\Program Files\PowerPro\pproconf.exe
2)win+a "enter command" *keys "enter keys to send"
{slow}{ctrl}{shift}q{shift}{ctrl}

click apply and OK

NOW - press win+p ->PowerPro config - close the window
    - press win+a ->nothing (BUG REPRODUCED)
    - press win+p ->nothing
***It is nothing with call the PowerPro config first of all - this
just displays that win+p hotkey works, the bug starts with win+a

Open PowerPro config and press OK

NOW - press win+p ->PowerPro config - close the window
    - press win+a ->notepad
    - press win+p ->PowerPro config

Now everyting works fine (there's more)

Press win+a -> notepad
close notepad
Press win+a -> notepad
close notepad
(this works)

But NOW
Press win+a -> notepad
enter some text
close notepad -> select no (not to save)
press win+a -> nothing (BUG REPRODUCED)

Open PowerPro config and press OK

NOW - press win+a ->notepad

Now everyting works fine
