Those are working fine in my system. However, I was hearing repeatedly
system's beef sound if I scrolled the mouse-wheel rapidly, without
preventing the above items from working though. Maybe Windows regards
them as a sort of buffer overflow attacks that I don't really know.

I don't really have an idea why those are not working in your system
whereas are working fine in my system. Have you applied all the
up-to-date security patches, e.g., another vulnerability for gdi32.dll?
