Apparently you don't understand the difference between betas and
major releases.

Betas are uploaded to enable beta testers to test new features,
which are likely to need more work to become stable.
It is not possible for Bruce to ensure that a new feature has
no faults because it will behave differently on different hardware
and different versions of Windows. You can be a beta tester if you
wish to make a contribution by writing informative reports of problems.
It is not appropriate to make offensive complaints.

Please note the difference between complaining and providing
helpful reports.

There are no links on the PowerPro website to enable downloading
any of the betas, so that they will not be downloaded by people
who are only looking for new features which are well tested.
The only links to betas are in messages which describe the
new features which are being trialled, so our test results
can be discussed.

Unlike betas, which are meant to be adventurous, non-beta releases
set a higher priority on stability. However even official releases
sometimes contain bugs if they only become apparent when they are
used by more people than only the beta testers.
That happened recently in 4.5 because the performance problems
were not reported while it was still beta. That is unusual
but it is inevitable that it will happen occasionally with
a program which has an exceptionally large feature set.

In your most recent message you write that you only use PowerPro
as a program launcher (although in previous messages you have
mentioned other things you use it for, such as adding a toolbar
to cmd windows for Copy and Paste, and programming the extra keys
on your Logitech keyboard).

So I don't understand why you download every beta, considering
that the new features provided for testing are of no use to you
and you cannot cope well with the inevitable bugs in betas.
If stability is your top priority, you would do better to
stick with a major release such as 4.0 and stop installing betas.
