Yup, I knew it. This was the first obstacle I encountered when
switching from * to (none) after I had experienced exactly the same
symptom with * background you described in the previous post.

After that, I was building a habit to use keys:
Bar.Keys() -> arrow (navigation) keys -> L/M/R keys for Left/Mid/Right

Unfortunately, this was also partially broken at some time:

Now, I became to seldom use bar buttons after all these, except to
just display infos/data.
