Yes, I agree. b> Also, I am not sure if you want to add a section on other advanced b> topics at the end for people who know how to script in other languages b> and are wondering how PowerPro does it <...> This is something I was also thinking about. However, there are some things I want to go through before doing that. My personal plan on development is: 1) Make the tutorial more easily updateable (what my other thread talks about). This will allow more people to work on the tutorial and save time in script coloring which was the most tedious thing to do until now. After this, anyone knowing to use dreamweaver will be able to syntax color scripts really easily following two or three guidelines. 2) Re-read the tutorial and update/rewrite as needed. The tutorial was originally written when plug-ins were starting to emerge and PP commands had a structure that is now different. Although the commands in the tutorial have been updated, I suspect that most of the tutorial is still in this "old school" logic that considers plug-ins "advanced" (there is almost no distinction now), etc. So, I think that there may be sections it the tutorial that may need to change to reflect the most recent philosophy. 3) Write any additional sections This is what you're referring to. I normally plan on doing 1 and 2 by my own, so I won't be doing 3 for a while. Anyone who is able to write additional sections is welcome to do so and can start now. Just inform the people in the list so we know who has undertaken what. The important thing to remember is that this is all targeted to novice users with no programming experience. The purpose is to write something for beginners. Advanced users can figure things out in helpfiles by themselves. Of course, if you want to write something for advanced users, this is acceptable as well. In the end, I will gather the material, modify it if needed and then publish it in the tutorial. -- Best regards, Alexander Cicovic http://www.alexcicovic.com/
