Bruce: is there any reason that your docs don't include the full function(?) name eg file rather than clip.file ??
Also, I don't want to give you more work, but have you thought of phasing out one of the help doc forms in favour of web-based help? A 4GL I use has a nice facility whereby a hilited command in conjunction with the F1 key takes you to the online docs. Other languages have online docs +wiki for each command: niice! as Borat says.
