I like Sheri's idea. A related approach would be to set up some key assigments for positioning active windows in specified locations of the screen. I have nine assignments. One for each corner, one for each midpoint of each side, plus the center of the screen. You can find the various positioning specifications in the file, <WinPos.txt> here: http://tinyurl.com/yt8odf
