As yet another option for creating dialogs with PowerPro, I uploaded this script. It needs Alan's vars plugin. It's rather specialized. You could use it to show a "My Settings" dialog of values that you want to interactively change, and save between powerpro sessions, much like the Options dialog of an application.

This script (MyConfig.powerpro) shows how to semi-automate the creation of a "Save Settings" dialog based entirely on CL items. The resulting dialog is a PowerPro bar, therefore it can be pushed to look and feel like a PowerPro bar, which can be very sophisticated! However, this script limits itself to a rather "dull" look, because the main point of it is to demonstrate how to do a reusable dialog, and how to permanently save its data in a file using the vars plugin. The dialog definition file is a CL definition file (an .ini file), therefore it that can be manually edited, and it should look immediately familiar if you have some experience of PowerPro bars. Thus your learning curve shouldn't be too steep (hopefully). To get started, copy both files to any folder, for instance c:\path\to\PowerPro\scripts\demoDialog then run MyConfig.powerpro, for instance from the command line powerpro .demoDialog\MyConfig The yellow/white dialog is the main character of this story. The other input dialog is just to keep the demo running. In a real situation, you would change the other input dialog with something more useful to you.
