FWIW, I've just installed keytrap and enabling it from a startup task
works for me. In order to make sure yours is getting run, you might
try making the load command:
mykeytraploadstatus=keytrap.enable(1)
and in More Commands put:
messagebox("OK", "keytrap load status: "++mykeytraploadstatus)
If, during startup the return value is not 1, you know that keytrap is
failing to load. But if you don't see a message at all maybe the
startup task itself is disabled in the scheduler.
If the command is getting run but the keys don't work, maybe some
other program is interfering. The readme file says:
When another application is on top of the keyboard hook, KeyTrap may
not be able to filter all the keys successfully. To reclaim the top
of the keyboard hook:
KeyTrap.Disable()
KeyTrap.Enable()
