this isnt' a list where it's appropriate to bash random pieces of open source 
software;
the goal of this list is to identify and discuss power issues, with the goal of 
getting
them fixed and getting Linux to behave better.

If you have specific power complaints about xfce, or any other piece of open 
source software..
by all means lets bring them out.
