Hi,

I am packaging powertop for Fedora. I got several requests
from Fedora users requiring such functionality. I think Jan's
approach is easy to maintain and user friendly.

I can also re-use such output in other projects,
e.g. to enable users to automatically generate
tuned power aware profiles from it (tuned is a tool
for static and dynamic system tuning according to selected
profile). This would simplify the tuning process for
inexperienced users. So my personal opinion is that Jan's
patch is useful

thanks & regards

Jaroslav
