Hi, PB 145b running OS 7.1 connected via Asante EN to 10base100 LAN. 1) what version of Desktop Printer Utility works with this machine? I have a Printline 10/1 printserver for a NEC laserprinter in the LAN. THe other machines can print to this (DPU 8.6 I think it is), but the PB cannot, although it can see the printserver and it can be pinged. The version 2.2 creates a desktop printer alright, but it won't spool to the printserver although it does see it by name. 2) What is missing from the systemfolder: MAcTCP is correctly configured as far as I can tell. confure manually class C, with LAN IP address, subnet 255.255.255.0, correct gateway IP and correct provider IP. I can ping all addresses on the LAN and number IP addresses in the Internet as well, and the PB does trigger the router to go online. It will not return any name addresses, however.
