Hi,
Im getting a bit worried. Yesterday a friend of mine purchased a
used Japanese PowerBook 145b. As he is totally new to Macintosh in
general, I volunteered to perform a clean install of System 7.1 on
his PowerBook. However, installing everything in japanese proved a
bit more challenging than I would have guessed. After a lot of
fiddling around, I managed to install the System from the supplied
CD-Rom. Now that I have restarted the machine it doesnt recognise
its harddrive anymore! Argh!!! Damn thing! Anyway, I know its
probably just to do with some "?&% SCSI Drivers.
Do you know of any program that might fix this? I had a similar
problem with my Duo once and some technician in my company fixed it
in no time. Id be really grateful for any suggestions.
Thanks a lot, Martin
