A more reliable solution would be to use a digital photocamera which uses
"digital film", preferably "compact-flash" ones.
You could use a pcmcia card adapter for compact-flash to insert and
transfer the images to your pb1400 (it has 2 pcmcia slots) , and maybe have
two or more compact flash cards and use them as a refill.
For video the problem is a more complex one, either because of the amount
of data, either because of the lack of a USB port...
