Yeah, Winbook has some very nice models out there.  I'd like to get (someday) 
a fully loaded new J1 model - 1 GHz, 256 MB RAM, 30 GB HD at only US$2200!!  
You gotta admit - for the money it's a really sweet 'Book.  Design is similar 
to the TiBook - pretty stylish for a PC.  (And personally, I'd take out ME 
and install 98SE.  A friend has ME - it likes to dial up the Internet at 
various times :-o  )

Laptop Magazine (July '01) rates the J1 as a Best Buy (ironically, alongside 
another Dell laptop).  Heat doesn't seem to be an issue (yah!), but a flimsy 
keyboard is.
