Hello everyone! I am new to this mailing list. I've been looking into Macs for a few months now and I've been trying to make a very educated decision on what to buy. I've decided I need a laptop (I am in college and constantly out and about). I've looked into various Powerbooks and I had decided to set a price limit at $500. But I've found G3 laptops for for $550 and also higher quality G3 Powerbooks with Firewire capabilities for $800 and more. I've decided my new price limit is $1000, but would love to spend less than that. I would love to receive advice from regular PB users and other Mac enthuasiats. If anyone could tell me what they think would be the best buy for a college student on a budget as well as a new Mac user, that would be great thanks!
