I'm back and I have a REAL PowerBook now! Just received my 3400 today, figured I should come back after my bad experiences with my 'kit' PB 180 and 180c a year or so ago (I shouldn't have bought non-working PowerBooks, with as little experience as I have, I guess....)
I have been researching the Cardbus upgrade for the 3400. I know it only costs $99 to have it done, but if that is all it costs, how complicated could it be to do yourself? If it is no more complicated than a Color Classic resolution upgrade (which I have done several times and some also charge $99 for) I wouldn't mind trying it. This site I found list night indicates that it is already (mostly) Cardbus capable, what do you think? http://www.wwc.edu/~frohro/Cardbus/Cardbus.html Russell - Unknown1 - Idaho USA http://idaho.cjb.net [EMAIL PROTECTED] -An Idaho Railroad News and Discussion List _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
