Hey Folks, Been subbed for two days now and already I'm learning. Still, questions abound.
With a new/old pb1400c, I'm wondering... what to do with it? Would be a perfect word processor for school, yet the problem is how to get it to talk with my other computer. In the mail is a Sonnet G3 333 upgrade, I'll be getting OS 8.6 (although I just read somewhere it's better to stick with 8.5 with the 1400.) And I have a Orangelink cardBus PC firewire card that someone found extra in an order. Now, after I get the upgrade (the sonnet upgrade) will I be able to use this firewire card to connect to my iMac G3 500? Can one use firewire to connect computers? Will I be stuck with shelling out another $100 for an ethernet card?
