It's not strictly a PB issue, but I'm trying to access files from my PB so there!
I have an old Performa 6214 serving as, well, a server, running Quid Pro Quo (for which it's doing yeoman duty) and as a backup spot and sometimes file server for my powerbooks. File sharing seems to take *forever* to start up on it. 64 mb ram, OS 8.6, 6G hdd on the 'road apple' File sharing is reasonably snappy once it's started, but it'll take five minutes or more.
