For whomever is listening, I'm trudging on with blinders, I've got the keyboard out and can definitely determine that one or more cables are loose -somewhere-.
Power seems to be one of them because moving plug around trips machine on and off. The green card that the power plug slips into seems to move around more then it should and slight movements cause reboot. Definitely a problem here. I've also got the little covers off of left & right side of hinges off, but this doesn't reveal much. Need to know: What else besides three screws on bottom and one in back are necessary to remove bottom? Is the bottom even removable (safely)? Is the faceplate of the monitor safe to remove? Are there any traps in doing this? Looking for a loose monitor cable, is this where to look? Could both the monitor and power cable be located in same general location? If so, this would explain things. Thanks in advance, Dave -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
