I changed the settings (never sleep and all the extensions to mac os 8.1 all) and rebooted from the disk (holding C) and looking through the CD the only directory that looks like it could possibly have the other installer was the folder "system software" >> mac os 9 with the following in it: big system morsels / install system software / install tome / system extras.
the obvious choise, install system software, informs me that it requires version 4.5.3 of installer application. Any suggestions? My mac OS 9 disk is supposed to arrive sometime next week it looks like but I'd really like to get this thing running sometime this weekend. :) Hope. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary D.
