Hehe... yeah, that was my post ;-)  I repaired Toshiba
laptops for many years. (At a Toshiba Premiere repair
center - not a CompUSA or someplace, so when I say "we
used hot glue" I'm talking about solutions that were
actually endorsed by Toshiba.)

A couple different models had that problem and we
would always tear the machine apart, place the AC plug
in position, and use a good amount of hot glue to
secure it in place.  Occasionally if the solder joint
were badly damaged, we'd have to use a little solder
to mount it back to the board, then we'd apply the
glue so it wouldn't loosen up again.
