I bought a 540c with a cracked screen for $20 the other day,
and the seller gave me a free replacement which fits, and
all the connectors are the same. It looked like it would
work, except when i boot up, the LCD shows no picture, but
rather than having nothing on it, theres a quick gray flash,
then it has nothing but a midnight blue glow to it. I
hooked up the 540c to an external monitor, and i got a
picture, (the other half of my desktop, )
im really stumped...ive checked all the connectors, with no
result.
any ideas?

thanks in advance
