Very interesting tidbit here... I've never had a problem with IE 5 crashing on my PB3400 80MB RAM OS 8.6, but I think I'm using a 56K dialup instead of broadband connection while waiting for pages to redraw while surfing. -My Pentium 166 PC based (32MB RAM) laptop on the table right next to it runs webpage circles around my faster processored PB much to my chagrin. Now you've encouraged me to try OS9 just to see if I can get some performance improvement. > I have yet to back everything up to make the jump to > X, still trying to get > my recently acquired 4x CD burner to work, just won > an older version of > Toast on eBay to try. Your making the jump to X on your 3400?? Did I read that right? I didn't think it would install on a 3400. You swap to a 3500 MB?? Or are you talking about a different PB here?
