Hello all,

Wow, you folks are fast! Many thanks to all who replied to my original
message.

And yes, Cameron, I shouldn't mock my poor little 117. It serves me
well. The G3 upgrade is certainly in the cards for the future, but
unfortunately, right now, between upgrading RAM and the hard drive, I'm
a bit too cash-strapped for it (although I know the 333 upgrades are
going relatively cheap right now). Since 133 processors are readily
(and cheaply) available on eBay, I'll probably have to go that route as
a temporary measure.

Thanks to you, David, for the offer. I think I can probably manage the
swap from the info Malcolm posted (thank you very much for that,
Malcolm), and I don't think my e-mail server would let me take anything
over 5 megs anyway...

Once again, thanks to all who replied, and to everyone on the list for
sharing your insight! One day, I hope to be wise enough in the ways of
the 'Book to offer advice of my own to some newbie...

-Jonathon
