I got the low down on OS 9 and the 5300 and decided against it. So I'll go with 8.6 if I can find it. I do have a PowerMac G3 that came with the set-up CD, can I install the OS 8 from the G3 CD onto the 5300 and then upgrade to 8.6? Also is it possible(I hate to admit this) share my DSL connection from my WIN2K box with the 5300 so I can do the OS update online?? And how do I make a boot floppy??
