On a related note, I have a small IDE HDD from a
desktop that refuses any formatting I can throw at it.
(and last night, an NEC SCSI 2 Gig also gave me
trouble - "cannot initialize an unsupported drive"
(but FWB does do the job, but not to Apple's liking -
OS 9 or 8 variants of Drive Set-Up).
Cheers
George

=====
"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all
 thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with
 all thy strength, and with all thy mind;
 and thy neighbour as thyself."
 Quoted from St Luke, 10:27.
