I just read a fun thread over on applefritter about people's first 68k Mac...

So in the same vein, what was your first PowerBook?

For me, it was a warm evening during summer break... The two of us
were sitting out under the stars... oh, yeah, I'm talking about
PowerBooks... ;-)

Really, though, I ordered my Wallstreet from Apple during my summer
break in 1999. I picked it up from FedEx on a warm night in August.
The very first thing I did was take it outside, sit down on the deck,
and fire up that thing. Then I watched a black fly crawl down inside
the display bezel... I managed to clean it out last year when I took
apart my display. Darn bug had been in there ever since. LOL

Since then, I got a 5300cs, a Duo 230, and most recently, a 5300ce
and dead 190.

Peace,
Drew
