Mine was a Powerbook Duo 210. Which didn't work, though I owned it. I then bought two 230 and another 210 board trying to fix it, all generating the same problem. In the end I ended up with a 280c, which was the first functional Powerbook I've ever owned :) Still use it today, as my main laptop. Love the thing. Still get complimented on it when I'm out with it, people don't believe you can get them on eBay for $20-40 ;) I even get an hour and a half or so battery life out of it. One of these days I need to get my rebuilt battery working again, if the cells are at all good anymore. Broke a wire and never got around to getting ti working again. Was getting 4 hours out of it.
