        I'd take it apart (battery out) and check the RAM module for being
loose, or perhaps faulty.  One screw at the back, by the modem, and four
screws on the bottom.  Torx T-8 screwdriver.  Reach in and disattach the
video cable, just inside, and scoot forward just a bit to clear little
catches at the front.
        Try taking out the RAM (just to the left of the video cable
attachment first, put it back together (don't bother with the screws),
reattaching the video cable last, plug in power and battery, and try it.
