Well, I think it is clear that Apple has always made a concentrated effort to
virtually "corner the market" in product placement in TV and movies... I can count on
one hand the times I have seen another computer maker's logo on some computer on TV or
the movies... in fact, I remember more examples of when NO logo could be seen at
all(!) as opposed to someone other than Apple.

I thank it's just that Apple has the most recognizible name in computers. And often,
when the TV/movie wants to simply get across that "X is using a home computer" then
Apple's logo, the most recognized in the industry, gets the message across quickly.

For example: there are dozens of soft drinks besides Coca-Cola; even several other
colas... but sometimes, I see someone on TV or on the silver screen drinking some
non-descript soft drink that has the COLORS and the LOGO of Coke, but is just labled
"Cola" or "Soft Drink." (and I look for that stuff!)

It gives the viewer the impression that the character is drinking SOMETHING... but U
know it is a SOFT DRINK as opposed to Tea...
