However, first of all, does it happen only on one particular site? My experience is that if it weren't for browsers, I probably wouldn't have had a single hang/freeze/crash in the last several (perhaps as many as five) years. Never forget that the Web is the great equalizer, which really means that any nitwit that *thinks* they can program JavaScript or Java can proudly post their buggy code, which will promptly crash your browser. So, if it's only a single site, then it's the site that's causing the problem.
